Rapist With 'Balls Of Steel' Sentenced To 27 Years In Jail, Nine Lashes of Rotan

KUALA LUMPUR: They had behaved worse than animals, raping a female masseuse on a sofa in full view of her colleagues.

Not content with satisfying their lust, their greed also saw led them to rob the very same massage parlour in Setapak on Nov 25.

However, they were made to realize the enormity of their crimes yesterday, when the KL Sessions Court showed them no mercy, and sentenced the two men to 27 years and 30 years behind bars, respectively.

Not only that, both men will also face nine and 10 lashes of the rotan, respectively, for their heinous crimes, Kosmo! reported.

Judge Emelia Kaswati Mohamad Khalid yesterday ordered the first accused, Mohamad Fadzlie M. Rosli, 20, to spend 27 years behind bars for the rape and robbery. He was also sentenced to be whipped nine times.

His conviction came in part from his victim's observation during an identification parade much earlier. The rape victim, a Vietnamese masseuse, had told the authorities that during the rape, she had accidentally touched her assailant's private part and felt a foreign object embedded within.

That foreign object turned out to be steel ball bearings, commonly known as 'tayam'.

Following her testimony, Mohd Fadzlie, who did have the 'tayam' implanted in his penis, confessed to the crime.

His face was captured, together with his accomplice’s, on the massage parlour's CCTV camera. The images were later distributed by police to the media.

Mohd Fadzlie's father, who recognised his son's face in the papers, turned his son in to the police.

Meanwhile, Mohd Fadzlie's accomplice, Mohd Khairiell Izham Hashimi, 21, was sentenced to 30 years in prison and 10 strokes of the rotan.

They had pleaded guilty to three charges, which was raping a Vietnamese woman on a sofa in the premises in full view of the other workers, as well as two counts of robbing the premise owner, Jong Chiak Eng, 51, as well as another worker, Teoh Cee Fah, 44.
